Summer Rest Trail Traditional Geocache

Summer Rest Trail is a 0.7 mile walking trail that meanders through a wooded area and ends with a spectacular view of the Intracoastal Waterway near Wrightsville Beach.  It's a perfect place for a short run or quiet walk in the woods.  Park hours are 8am-sunset each day.

This geocache is one of 12 caches in the New Hanover County Parks & Gardens Geo-Challenge.  All 12 caches are small, light brown, plastic containers.  This challenge and prize was created for children, but all ages are welcome to participate.

To complete the challenge:

1. Print a Geo-Challenge passport from our website
2. Locate all 12 caches
3. Stamp your passport with the stamper in each cache
4. Take your completed passport to the Parks Office to receive your prize
