Geocache Description:

The Reverse Cache [Wherigo]

When I Grow Up

‘When I Grow Up’ is a life-sized bronze sculpture by Darren Jackson, based on the real-life nephew of an RNLI volunteer. It stands on a granite plinth from Poortown quarry near Peel. It depicts a child in an adult lifeboat man's clothing. It symbolises regeneration, and the new generation growing up to take their place in society.

INSTRUCTIONS

For this cache you need a Wherigo enabled GPS device or smartphone.

Download the Wherigo cartridge here.

All the instructions are given to you when you play this Wherigo.

You will find in your Inventory a 'Reverse Cache Box'. Opening this box will not give you the coordinates but will give the distance to the final cache.

Your task is to find the geocache using the box as little as possible for checking the distance.

You must first go to the listed coordinates where you will find the statue and a plaque. You will need a code to start the game and you need to convert the yellow letters shown on the picture below to numbers.

When asked, type these numbers into your player and off you go in search of the cache!
