Please do not go onto or disturb the Memorial

August 1944: After Operation Neptune over the Seine in Vernon, the 4^th and 5th Wiltshire regiments liberated Bois St Jerome and Chapelle St. Ouen after meeting heavy opposition. They went on to Gasny and Giverny.
