Il Monte Nona è una cima delle Ali Apuane Meridionali alto 1297 metri situato nel comune di Stazzema, sullo spartiacque tra Versilia e Garfagnana. Sul versante della Garfagnana è caratterizzato da pendii erbosi e sfasciumi, mentre il versante della Versilia presenta alti dirupi, tra cui la parete Sud-Ovest alta 200 metri. A poca distanza dal Monte Nona, separato dall'omonima Foce, si trova il Procinto. Dalla cima c'è una bellissima vista verso il Sagro, l'Altissimo, il Sumbra, le Panie, il Monte Croce, il Piglione, il Prana, il Matanna, e con bel tempo si possono scorgere il mare, le Alpi Marittime, gli Appennini ed il Monte Pisano. Sulla cima si trovano i resti di una piccola croce in ferro; nella zona è possibile vedere capre selvatiche. L'accesso più semplice è dal Callare del Matanna, per un sentiero non numerato che segue la cresta (segnavia blu); un altro accesso è dalla Foce delle Porchette attraverso il sentiero 109 e un sentiero non segnato. Esistono varie vie di arrampicata.
Mt. Nona is part of the Southern Apuan Alps. 1297 metres high, it is comprised in the municipality of Stazzema, on the watershed between Versilia and Garfagnana. On the Garfagnana side, it is characterized by grassy slopes and small stones, while on the Versilia side there are steep rocky walls; the South-West wall is 200 metres high. Very close to Mt. Nona, separated by Foce del Procinto, there is Mt. Procinto. The view from the top includes Mounts Sagro, Altissimo, Sumbra, Panie, Croce, Piglione, Prana, Matanna, and on clear days one can see the sea, the Maritime Alps, the Apennines, and Mt. Pisano. On the top there are the ruins of a small iron cross; nearby wild goats use to graze. The easiest access is from Callare del Matanna, through an unnumbered path following the watershed (blue signs); it can also be accessed from Foce delle Porchette through path 109 and an unmarked path. There are many climbing routes in the area.
