Cette cache (la 1è pour moi !) vous permettra de découvrir Brion-sur-Ource, un petit village situé dans le Châtillonnais, au nord de la Côte-d'Or. Le village se trouve à 10 km de Châtillon-sur-Seine, et il fait partie de la Route du Crémant, qui est l'une des spécialités du Châtillonnais.
Vous pourrez y découvrir notamment l'église, bâtie à partir du XVè siècle sur l'emplacement d'une ancienne chapelle castrale, et dédiée à Saint-Hippolyte (tribun romain vénéré dans cette partie de l'ancien diocèse de Langres depuis le haut Moyen-Âge). Cette église a été ensuite remaniée à plusieurs reprises. De l'extérieur, on peut y noter le portail ouest daté de 1629 et comportant plusieurs inscriptions ainsi que des symboles.
L'église, inscrite aux Monuments historiques en 1988, est toujours utilisée pour le culte.
Les environs de l'église ne sont accessibles qu'à pied ou à vélo (il est possible de se garer aux alentours) La conteneur est de type "capsule" (micro). Attention : les coordonnées GPS ont été calculées grâce à un smartphone, moins précis qu'un appareil GPS (le hint pourra vous aider).

This cache (1st time for me!) will allow you to discover Brion-sur-Ource, a small village located in the Châtillonnais, in the northern part of the Côte-d'Or departement. The village is located about 10 km of Châtillon-sur-Seine, and is on the "Route du Crémant" ("Road of Burgundy sparkling wines").
You will find there a church, built from the 15th century on the site of an ancient chapel, and dedicated to Saint Hippolytus (a Roman tribune venerated in this area since the Early Middle Ages). The church was later modified during centuries. Outside, you will notice the western portal built in 1629, with inscriptions and symbols on it.
The church is classified as a "Monument historique" ("National Heritage Site") since 1988, and is still used as a place of worship.
The area surrounding the church is only reachable on foot or by bicycle (but it's possible to park your car around the place). The container is a silver capsule (micro). Warning : the GPS coordinates have been calculated with a smartphone, which is less accurate than a GPS device, so there might be a margin of error (read the hint if necessary)
