Located on the Timber Trail cycle ride. Check out the sign boards to get a feel for the history of the area. A good place to stop for lunch.
A cycleway through iconic New Zealand bush and logging history. Track follows forestry roads and an old tramway. A reasonable level of fitness is required due to the distance and terrain. Be prepared as there is no cell phone coverage and no shortcuts once you leave the Piropiro campsite.
