Geocache Description:

Mountain biking on the Isle of Man is extremely popular and Archallagan Plantation has become one of the riders' favourite areas. Not only do they ride around here but they have also put a tremendous amount of time and effort into improving the tracks and trails for others to use. The End2End Legacy has certainly made a difference in this Plantation and their partnership DEFA and Zurich International has meant that everyone can enjoy this wonderful Plantation to the full.

This is a nice simple multi to get you started on your adventure in the forest. The above co-ordinates take you to a sign (East side)  showing where you are in the plantation. From this sign collect the following information.

A = Third digit in telephone number?

B = How many birds on the sign?

C = Number of trails?

Final at :

N 54 10.AA(B*2)

W 004 36.(C - 238)

NOTE.

Archallagan Plantation is a working environment where forestry operations take place. Please beware of vehicles on forestry roads and machinery involving tree felling activities.

Please respect other users of the Plantation – Walkers, horse riders, cyclists etc.Public access to the Plantation may be restricted due to forestry work or sporting events and please pay attention to public notices and follow all safety signage.

Many thanks to DEFA for allowing this cache to be placed here and for encouraging people to get out and enjoy this wonderful old Plantation. Remember the country code and respect this area.

Happy caching.
