A bring your own picnic event on Dalkey Island!
Join us on 11th July to celebrate the 4th July again! The Independence Day theme is just an excuse for fireworks (in the form of sparklers, ahem) and American food and drink 
The event will take place on Saturday, 11th July at 10.30am on Dalkey Island and is expected to last until at least 11.30am.
You can get to the island by kayak or boat. If you don't have your own means of transport, please contact me via my profile for details of how you can get there.
The event will take place on the island weather permitting. If the weather is too bad to take to the sea that day, we will meet at the trailhead coordinates given (Coliemore Harbour).
There will be a chance to find the traditional cache on the island, which was hidden last summer:
