This cache is part of the

The painted turtle is the most widespread native turtle of North America. It lives in slow-moving fresh waters and is part of the pond turtle family. The markings on this particular specimen are just a little different.
The last 700 m is a “Forest Access Road”, not maintained in the winter. Use at your own discretion.
