Situado na margem esquerda do rio Douro, a 15.5 km da barra, permite a acostagem de embarcações de recreio. Trata-se de um lugar paradisíaco com praia, local para pescar, uma pequena ribeira. Recentemente foi lá construído um Bar. Embora o Bar tenha trazido mais movimento e retirado parte da calma, adicionou outras possibilidades para quem quiser comer ou beber algo ou usar o W.C.
O acesso é feito a partir de uma rua estreita, logo se vier de carro, recomendo cuidado para não ter um acidente.
Se optar por dar um mergulho no Rio Douro, tenha em atenção que a maré muda repentinamente, falo por experiência própria pois já apanhei aqui um susto...
Por favor seja discreto uma vez que o local é frequentado por pescadores e banhistas, especialmente com tempo quente.

Situated by Douro River's left margin, 15.5km from its end, allows to board boats and other recreational watercrafts. It is a paradise that includes a beach, a good fishing spot, and a small riverside. Recently a bar was built there. The Bar brought more people and removed part of the calm of this place, but in addition now it is possible to drink, eat or using the W.C.
The access is made through a narrow street, so if you came by car, please be careful or you might have an accident.
If you choose to dive in the river, please be aware of the rapid changing tides, and I'm speaking by my own experience, because I already had a scary moment here...
Please be discrete because there are some muggles, specially in the hot weather.
