This cache, the container, the log book and its initial content, are Sy's birthday present for Perdurabo. It is placed close to the trail head of the Chiang Dao Nature Trail.
We strongly recommend going the trail but we placed the cache not far from the road so that it can relatively easily be reached. However, wear shoes and insect repellent!
You find the container behind a stone in a large crevice in the rock. This is not meant as a spoiler. We just want to prevent you from probing with your bare hands in the rocks in a place where you might encounter poisonous animals. Consult the spoiler picture.
The nature trail starts on the left side of the road. If you continue until the end of the road you arrive at a beautiful temple in the woods where you can walk up stairs to a shrine that reminds of the ivory tower of the queen in a children's book by Michael Ende ("Die unendliche Geschichte") . Once there, enjoy the view and the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere!
If you feel like hiking the whole trail you will arrive at the Chiang Dao cave. Go in and see - it is worth it!!!
