Rastplats Tjärn, vid Skellefteås södra infart, är en tämligen välutrustad rastplats. Här finns lekplats, toaletter och rastbord (förutom generöst med parkeringsutrymme förstås).
Dock kan man utan problem föreställa sig rastplatsens enkla ursprung. I södra kanten av den intilliggande skogsdungen står ett ensamt litet hus, som vid första blicken kan tänkas vara till relaterat till telefoni eller el. Så är inte fallet, Det lilla huset är ett övergivet utedass, med en väl upptrampad stig från rastplatsen.

The reststop in Tjärn, at the south entrance of Skellefteå, is rather well equipped. There's a playground, WC, and picknick tables.
The humble origins of the reststop can without problem be imagined. There's a small house at the far end of the small grove just to the south of the reststop. The house, which at first looks as if it's related to telephony or electricity, is instead a disfunctional outhouse/privy, with a well-trodden footpath from the reststop.
The cache contains a log, but bring your own pen.
