Pretende-se com esta cache, proporcionar um agradável passeio ao longo da Ribeira de São Lourenço.  

A ribeira de São Lourenço nasce no extremo norte da freguesia de Loulé, em Apra, e desagua no extremo poente da Ria Formosa, no Ludo.

Tem um comprimento de 24,7km.

A altitude máxima é de 340 metros

Área da bacia hidrográfica é de 44km².

The aim of this cache is providing a pleasant walk along the Ribeira de São Lourenço.

The stream (Ribeira) of São Lourenço borns in the far north of the town of Loulé , in Apra , and flows into the western end of the Ria Formosa, in Ludo .

It has a length of 24.7km

The maximum altitude is 340 meters

A  alfarrobeira  é uma árvore de folha perene, originária da região mediterrânica , que atinge cerca de 10 a 20 metros de altura. O seu fruto é a alfarroba de onde tudo pode ser aproveitado, embora a sua excelência esteja apenas ainda ligada à semente. Tem múltiplas utilizações na industria alimentar, farmacêutica, têxtil e cosmética. È uma importante alternativa ao chocolate.

The Carob tree is an evergreen tree, native to the Mediterranean region, which reaches about 10 to 20 meters high. Its fruit is the carob where everything can be used, though its excellence is still only on the seed. It has multipe uses in the food , pharmaceutical, textile and cosmetics industry . It is an important alternative to chocolate.
