Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!
Geocachers around the world celebrate International Cache In Trash Out weekend annually by hosting and participating in Cache In Trash Out Events in their local area. Events might be focused on litter clean-up, removal of invasive species, revegetation efforts or building trails. Together, we make an enormous positive impact. Did we mention that we also have a bit of fun while we're at it?
In the past, this event has qualified for student's Community Service hours, Since we're doing a new location outside of Ridgecrest this year, I'm not 100% sure on that.

We will gather here at the parking lot at 5 PM for log signing, group photo and equipment dispersal (or bring your own gloves, bags, etc). There is a cute park here that I was recently informed off and while the playground area looked good, but the ball courts, picnic area and horseshoe pit seem to have been neglected and in desperate need of help.
When: Saturday April 25th, 2015 from 5 PM - 6 PM
What to Bring: Gloves, Trash Bags, Water, Rakes, Shovels, Gas or Battery powered weed whacker
What to Wear: Clothes you don't mind getting dirty in, CLOSED toe tennis shoes
