Mit Großbritannien verbindet Hannover viel. Nicht nur, dass das Kurfürstentum Hannover und das Königreich Großbritannien für 123 Jahre einen gemeinsamen König hatten - auch aktuell gibt es Beziehungen z.B. in Form von einer Städtepartnerschaft mit Bristol. Hier an der internationalen Schule lernen Schüler aus über 50 Nationen! Unterrichtssprache ist natürlich Englisch. Dieser Cache fordert von euch eine kleine fiktive Aufnahmeprüfung ab. Wenn ihr FAIR bleibt, könnt ihr die Telefonzelle "betreten" (bei dem Schloss muss der Bügel in den Korpus gedrückt werden, dann springt es auf). Ihr benötigt dann ein echtes Telefon. Das innere Verrät euch die Nummer. Der benötigte Code ist dann wieder FAIR. Beantwortet die Fragen, die euch Einlass gewähren werden. Das vorhandene Telefon ist nur da, weil es cool aussieht und irgendwie britisch ist.
Hannover has many ties with the UK. Not only did the Electorate of Hannover and the Kingdom of Great Britain share a king for 123 years – the relationship is still going strong now, including a town-twinning arrangement with Bristol. Pupils from more than 50 countries learn here at the International School, where the teaching language is of course English. This cache sets geocachers a short, virtual entrance examination. Clue: if you remain FAIR, you can ‘enter’ the telephone booth (Locker: the bracket must be pressed into the body, then it will open). Then, equally FAIRly, you dial the right number with a real phone and answer the questions that will grant you access. The nice old phone in the booth is just there for giggles. |
