Ok lets meet at 8:30 and have a short meet and greet. we can meet the rangers who give the permission to hide in the forest. then any one willing can join on the hike along this portion of the palmetto trail. A Great Outdoor Leisure Time Activity Planned For April 11-2015 Here in The Sumter National Forest.
The Whitmire Economic Development Board Members Have Partnered With Officials the Enoree District Forestry & The Palmetto Conservation Organization to Coordinate a First Of Its Kind in Whitmire-A Palmetto Trail Hike with its start point at The Brick House Hunt Camp On Hwy 66-Whitmire,SC. The Palmetto R Trail is a National Registered Site,and will attract folks to visit Whitmire& The Sumter National Forest

There will be two hikes this morning. A 2 mile hike and a 5 mile hike. The 5 mile hike will begin at 9 am and continue till 11 am or some time around there. While the 2 mile hike will begin at 10 am and run till 11 am or there after. This is an extention to the town of whitmire hike i am just hosting an event for the geocachers that want to join.

There is 18 caches or so in the immeadiate area of brick house camp ground. as well as others in the area. shuld make for a great day of geocaching and hiking.

 i hope to see you all out there.

If you are planning to join either the 5 mile hike or the 2 mile hike please note that the d/t rating is inadmissible. ratings would be so much higher while hiking.
