CARW2015 Top of the Trail Traditional Cache

This cache is located in the lovely Chickakoo Recreation Area, on the Woodland Lookout path. This is a favorite location our family likes to come and go hiking. It is a lovely little gem tucked out of the way in Parkland County. Accessible all year round. Winter you can snowshoe and cross country ski on these fabulous trails.

In the winter months you can easily cut across on foot trails linking Indian Ridge and Woodland Lookout, a recently placed cache of ours Land of the Silver Birch is right near the footpath. In warmer months you will have to follow around to Natures Path then onto Woodland Trail. 

The cache is closely located to the Raspberry Peak mark on this Chickakoo Trail Map it is up at the top of a steep hill. Our 4 year olds did manage just fine though. When you find the look out point with rest stop you are not too far. The view is certainly worth it.
