There are markers here honoring those who created the National Parks, and those who serve to preserve and protect both the park and those who visit. Some Park Rangers have given their all while on duty. Ranger Jeff Christiansen died while on backcountry patrol, and you will find a tribute to him and his career here at Rocky Mountain National Park.

Final stage for this cache is OUTSIDE of RMNP's boundaries. The actual cache is a short drive east, towards Estes Park. You will find a micro-cache within easy reach.
