Der Krollbach ist ein orografisch rechtes Nebengewässer der Glenne in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Er hat eine Länge von 15,3 km.
Die Quelle des Krollbaches befindet sich auf rund 153 Metern Höhe innerhalb des Truppenübungsplatzes Senne und somit auf dem Gelände eines militärischen Sperrgebietes. Wie bei den meisten in diesem Bereich entspringenden Gewässern schließt sich auch beim Krollbach oberhalb des Quellgebietes ein Trockental an. Das Gewässer fließt der Abflachung der dem Teutoburger Wald vorgelagerten Sennelandschaft folgend in südwestliche Richtung innerhalb eines Kastentals ab, passiert nach rund drei Kilometern Fließstrecke die ehemalige Krollmühle, durchquert anschließend den Südrand des Naturschutzgebietes Moosheide und durchfließt dort einen zum Zwecke des Sandfangs errichteten Teich. Nach der Querung der Bundesautobahn 33 wendet sich der Krollbach dem Siedlungsbereich von Hövelhof zu und erreicht am Ostrand der Ortschaft eine Flussbifurkation, über die der als Schwarzwasserbach bezeichnete rechte Arm in westliche Richtung in die Ems abfließt.
Der Krollbach führt im weiteren Verlauf südwestlich an Hövelhof vorbei und erreicht unterhalb des Orts das rund 121,8 ha große Naturschutzgebiet Erdgarten-Lauerwiesen. Innerhalb dieser aus Feuchtwiesen und Erlenbruchwald bestehenden Schutzfläche übertritt der Bach das Stadtgebiet von Delbrück. Östlich des Ortsteils Ostenland befindet sich eine erste kanalartige Verbindung zur nur unwesentlich weiter südlich verlaufenden und in diesem Bereich als Haustenbach bezeichneten Glenne, der Krollbach folgt der Glenne jedoch in annähernd parallelem Verlauf über weitere 2,5 km und mündet schließlich südlich von Ostenland auf Höhe des Wasserwerkes in diese ein.
Der Krollbach überwindet während seiner Fließstrecke einen Höhenunterschied von 58 Metern, somit ergibt sich ein mittleres Sohlgefälle von 3,8 ‰.
Der Name des Krollbaches entstand aufgrund der Gestalt seines Binnendeltas wohl in Anlehnung an den Begriff "Krull", der ursprünglich eine fächerförmige Frisur bezeichnete; bzw. an die Bezeichnung "Krollen" für eine fächerförmig geraffte Art von Tüchern und Hauben. Der Krollbach war jedoch offenbar lange Zeit ein namenloses Gewässer. Darauf deutet unter anderem der Name einer vor 1700 am Bachlauf entstandenen Reihensiedlung hin, die lediglich als "Teichwasser" bezeichnet wurde; und noch 1828 weist die damalige Katasterkarte eine am Krollbach befindliche Straße mit der einfachen Bezeichnung "Wasserweg" aus. Die Bezeichnung des Gewässers als "Krull Wasser" findet sich erstmals in einer Karte aus dem Jahr 1805.

The Krollbach is an orographically right tributary of the Glenne in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a length of 15.3 km.
The source of the Krollbach is located at an altitude of about 153 meters within the military training area Senne and thus on the site of a military restricted area. As with most waters originating in this area, the Krollbach above the source area is followed by a dry valley. Following the flattening of the Senne-landscape in front of the Teutoburg Forest, the water flows in a southwestern direction within a valley, passes the former Krollmühle after about three kilometres of flow, then crosses the southern edge of the Moosheide nature reserve and flows through a pond erected there for the purpose of sand trapping. After crossing the federal motorway 33, the Krollbach turns towards the settlement area of Hövelhof and reaches a river bifurcation on the eastern edge of the village, over which the right arm, known as the Schwarzwasserbach, flows in a westerly direction into the Ems. The Krollbach continues southwest past Hövelhof and reaches the Erdgarten-Lauerwiesen nature reserve of 121.8 ha below the village. Within this protected area consisting of wet meadows and alder forest, the stream crosses the Delbrück city area. To the east of the district of Ostenland there is a first channel-like connection to the Glenne, which runs only insignificantly further south and in this area is called Haustenbach, the Krollbach follows the Glenne in an approximately parallel course over a further 2.5 km and finally flows into it to the south of Ostenland at the level of the waterworks. The Krollbach overcomes a height difference of 58 meters during its flow section, resulting in a mean bottom slope of 3.8 ‰.
The name of the Krollbach probably originated on the basis of the shape of its Binnendeltas in dependence on the term "Krull", that originally designated a fan-shaped hairstyle; and/or to the name "Krollen" for a fan-shaped gathered type of cloths and bonnets. However, the Krollbach was obviously a nameless water for a long time. This is indicated, among other things, by the name of a row settlement built before 1700 along the course of a stream, which was merely described as "pond water"; and as late as 1828, the cadastral map of that time still shows a road along the Krollbach with the simple designation "waterway". The designation of the water body as "Krull Wasser" can be found for the first time in a map from the year 1805.
