Geocache Description:

Come join us for a joint event by the Freestate Happy Wanderers Walking Club and the Maryland Geocaching Society!

We will be at the starting point of the volksmarch - 9am - 3pm

7410 Old Muirkirk Rd.

Beltsville, MD 20705

Volksmarching is a noncompetitive 5km or 10km walk with a hiking club.

The geocachers can learn what volksmarching is and can enjoy the caches that are already placed along the trails for this volkswalk. We will explain to volksmarchers and anyone else interested what geocaching is about. There will be information inside about volksmarching and geocaching. Participating in the volksmarch is optional.

This volkswalk will highlight the black history in this area of Beltsville, MD.
