Our first Church Micro and, at the moment, the only one in Bradford on Avon. Placed to celebrate our 600th find.
Bearfield Church was built in 1789 as "Bethel Chapel" and has been known by many names over the years, but is today run as an independent trust. As well as a Sunday service they run midweek groups for various ages and needs.
Bearfield counts a number of young families amongst its membership. It is only right that we make this cache a short walk (250m?) to a container with swaps and room for TBs. (Larger-than-micro Church Micros are encouraged!)
As always, however, take care with children on the variable-pavement roads of Bradford on Avon.
Parking is limited (especially on Sunday mornings!) and mainly outside houses, so please park considerately, or for another option use the parking waypoint below, near a play park.
Find the postbox at the posted co-ordinates and note its reference number (format BA15 xyD). The final is at N51 21.xx(y/3) W002 15.(y/3)xx.
FTF congratulations to antpeng -- again! We know they live nearby and had sort of hoped they would be busy when this was published to give someone else a chance, but will overlook their obsession as they left such a nice log!
