Not far from Ballarat, the Moorabool Reservoir has been booked for this years Central Victoria Annual Anzac Day event. Located on the banks of the Moorabool River and overlooking the reservoir, the Moorabool Reservoir Park provides a beautiful recreation area with BBQ’s and picnic facilities provided (both undercover in the event that it rains). A large grassy area, lots of walks to do, views to see, lovely gardens and old trees, historic Moorabool Lodge on site, there is enough here to cater for young and old. Car Parking is next to the Picnic area, wheelchair access is available. Public Toilet on site. No dogs/animals allowed, no swimming in the Reservoir allowed. Bring the footy or the cricket bats and balls for the young ones, there's lots of room.
This Central Victorian Get Together will be the eighth in what started as an annual event showcasing some of the cities in central Victoria, this year we'll be on the boundaries of Cent Victoria.
We've been to Bendigo, Shepparton, Ballarat, Echuca and last year was at Castlemaine.
BYO Picnic or BBQ lunch and drinks, make sure you have your GPS, as we'll be having a few caching competitions.

The entrance to the reservoir park is on Spargo Creek Rd. Get there by taking the Wallace exit off the Western Hwy. Follow the signs for Springbank and merge onto Ormond Rd. Turn right onto Springbank Rd and then turn left onto Spargo-Creek Rd.
