Guidelines:

  • You may find and sign the physical log at any time. However, this challenge cache may be logged as "Found it" on geocaching.com only after the log is signed AND the challenge tasks have been met as detailed in these Guidelines.
  • Find at least one cache on the first day it was found or the day following the first day it was found by anyone for every unique day of February for non-leap years (February 1st thru 28th, 28 days in all). Any February from any year can be used. Your 28 unique finds for these must be logged on geocaching.com.
  • SCENARIO 1: If the cache was first found at 11:59 PM on February 4th and you found it at 10:00 PM on February 5th (22 hours later), that find would qualify. Your qualifying date would be the date you found it; in this example, February 5th. If you found it at any time on February 6th or later, that find would not qualify. It must be found on the first day or the following day. In this example, this allows you at least 24 hours to find the cache and have it qualify for this challenge.
  • SCENARIO 2: If the cache was first found at 12:01 AM on February 14th and you found it at 10:00 PM on February 15th (46 hours later), that find would qualify. Your qualifying date would be the date you found it; in this example, February 15th. If you found it at any time on February 16th or later, that find would not qualify. It must be found on the first day or the following day. In this example, this allows you almost 48 hours to find the cache and have it qualify for this challenge.
  • SCENARIO 3: If the cache was first found at 12:01 AM on February 24th and you found it at 9:00 AM on February 24th (9 hours later), that find would qualify. Your qualifying date would be the date you found it; in this example, February 24th. If you found it at any time on February 26th or later, that find would not qualify. It must be found on the first day or the following day. In this example, this allows you almost 48 hours to find the cache and have it qualify for this challenge.
  • Publication date has no bearing on whether you qualify or not.
  • To be clear, you may be, but you DO NOT need to be First-To-Find on any of the caches in your verification list of caches to qualify for this challenge. You just need to be eager enough to go after the newly found ones.
  • Generally accepted rules, guidelines and conditions for logging a cache find apply. These must be bona fide caches listed on Geocaching.com that you have personally (physically) found and logged on the first day it was found.
  • There are NO found date restrictions on qualifying caches. You may include caches found prior to the creation of this challenge, as long as they meet all other Challenge requirements.
  • Cache types that DO qualify as finds for this challenge are: Traditional, Multi, Virtual, Letterbox Hybrid, Unknown, Mystery, Puzzle, Webcam, Earthcache, and Wherigo.
  • Cache types that DO NOT qualify as finds for this challenge are: Event, Cache In Trash Out Event, Mega-Event, Giga Event, Lost and Found Event/Celebration, Block Party, (OK, all event types), Locationless (Reverse), Waymark, and NGS Benchmarks.
  • While you may have others with you when you find the final cache, only those who have fulfilled ALL criteria for this cache will be allowed to log it as a Find. Find logs by non-qualified cachers will be deleted.
  • The terrain rating on this cache page refers to the terrain of the final cache.
  • When in doubt about the requirements, ask - we can discuss it, but the final decision rests with the Cache Owner.
  • Remember that this is a game and is supposed to be fun!!!

Verification:

When you believe you’ve found a cache on every day as stated in the Guidelines, post proof of your qualifying finds (28 unique days in all) with at least the following elements: GCcode, Qualifying Date (the date you found it), Cache Type, and Cache Name. This can be one of the following forms:

  • A list in your "Found it" log
  • A list in your prior "Write note" log
  • A public shared bookmark list
  • An image showing the required data elements

See my sample validation lists (in-line list, image, bookmark) posted one day after the Publish listing log entry.
