A decon container hidden in the California Hill State Forest
This cache is intended to bring you to a little-traveled section of California Hill. The best way to approach this cache is from Wayawanda Ct following the road to the cell tower until it hooks a sharp right uphill. If you follow the woods road straight ahead for a short ways you'll end up on a broad plateua which affords relatively easy bushwhacking. This cache is placed in part of California Hill which is strewn with moderate-sized boulders. This area was once farm-land and the stone walls nearby attest to the work that it too to clear the rocks from the fields. However, these boulders were clearly too large to move. While visiting the cache, take the time to consider th difficulties our forebears faced in trying to farm these lands and imagine what this boulder field might have once looked like.
The cache is a decon container placed so that it should be accessible in winter.
