Geocache Description:

Valour park is on the site of the former Apex Park that was created in the early 60's as a memorial to members of that organisation that died in the Second World War

Over the years the park fell into disrepair, but in early 2014 it was redeveloped and renamed to fit in with the other memorial parks along the Federal Highway

The listed coordinates are at the Watson entrance to the park, but you can also access the area from the Federal Highway.

At WP1 you will find the Junior Farmers Memorial. The lower plaque reads In honoured memory of junior farmers who made the supreme sacrifice in service to their country

C = Number of seats near (within 40m of) the rock

At WP2 you will find one of several signs displaying the name of a plant that grows here.
