Cottage Grove Drive is a north-south road extending from the City of Old Cottage Grove to the south to the City of Woodbury. When this road hits Old Cottage Grove it turns into Lamar Avenue. To the north, this road extends to the City of Lake Elmo. When this road hits I-94 it turns into Lake Elmo Avenue North. Cottage Grove Drive pre-dates the construction of I-94. The road is present on 1947 aerial photographs of Woodbury.

When the communities of Stonemill Farms and Dancing Waters were built, the portion of the road through these developments was renamed as Settlers Ridge Parkway and the alignment was changed. A portion of the old roadbed was made into a hike/bike path through this community.
