A medium length multi that will take you on a walk which I frequented many mornings of our stay on Lord Howe. The walk meanders along Middle Beach (betwixt and between), The Clear place (clarity) and the valley of shadows (darkness). With some simple calculations at the three waypoints, you should be able to locate the cache which lies (roughly) between two of the waypoints.
The cache is located at S31 31.ABC E159 04.DEF Park your car/bike at the posted coordinates and follow the track to a junction in the path. Turn left down to middle beach and head to waypoint 1.
WP1:
F=Number of times the letter "A" is on the sign
B=Number of "A's" + number of "R's"
WP2: Climb back up the stairs and continue eastbound along the trail to a clearing known as "The Clear Place". On a good day, balls pyramid and the southern mountains can be seen from here. This spot is at its best on a sunny day and even better at sunrise.
D=Number of planks which make up the seat.
E= D-1
WP3: Originally this was to be the location for the cache but as there were no good hiding spots, it became a waypoint instead.
Read the date that the individual died (which can be found on the plaque on the seat. The date A/5/C1 gives the remaining numbers required.

The final cache is located in a part of this walk that I have not foccussed on; the rainforrest. This spectacular island has a vast number of banyan trees, which have latter roots which grow from the branches and attatch themselves to the ground. Once you have calculated the coordinates for the cache, take your time looking up on the way to and at GZ. The canopy is just amazing. The container is located on the eastern side of the tree. Big thanks to Seaeagles1997's Geogran who has agreed to be the cache maintainer.
