Vid steg ett skall du söka en skylt vars UV-synliga text ger koordinaterna till nästa steg. Skylten är synlig och inte dold på något sätt. Det framgår att det är rätt skylt när du kan läsa texten i vanligt ljus "GEOCACHE" "Ymer UV Night Vision / GC5HFA8"
