What’s the meaning of this?

You approach the petroglyphs at Parowan Gap along an ancient trail. In prehistoric times the gap was used by people living in the Parowan Valley as a convenient passage through the Red Hills. Remnants of their travels are inscribed along the walls of the towering cliffs of the Gap, known as petroglyphs. The true meaning of these inscriptions is not really known but their detail tells of a very insightful people.
