This is another cache in a planned series within this lovely ancient common. There is a good chance that the log could easily become damp so please ensure it is replaced within the bag and sealed. Please bring your own pen and there is no room for swaps or trackables.
Many wildlife species and woodland walks can be enjoyed throughout the common which is very popular with dog walkers and horse riders. More information about the common's history and wildlife can be found here
Permission to place the cache has kindly been granted by the Landowner and the Green Space officer at St Albans City council. Please be sensitive to the native wildlife and where possible stick to the paths. The common can get very muddy so please ensure you are wearing suitable clothing and footwear.
Due to the tree coverage GPS bounces around somewhat so you might need to be generous with the search area!
