Rundgang Castillo Caleta de Fuste
Im November 2014 waren wir knapp 3 Wochen in diesem schönen Ort auf Fuerteventura. Um euch rauszulocken und Caleta de Fuste ein wenig näher zu bringen und euch etwas Bewegung zu verschaffen, haben wir einen kleinen Multi angelegt.
„Caleta de Fuste” findet man in Inselkarten oder auf Straßenschildern oft unter verschiedenen Ortsnamen. Geläufige Namen sind z. B.: „El Castillo” oder auch die neue Bezeichnung „Costa Caleta”.
„Caleta” ist das spanische Wort für „Bucht” und „Fuste” bedeutet „Fischerboot”.
Der Ortsname „Castillo” stammt von einem (in Hafennähe gelegenen) Turm der ca. 1740 erbaut wurde. Der Turm ist jetzt Bestandteil einer Appartementanlage und diente damals ab Abschreckung für die Piraten.
Caleta de Fuste gehört zur Gemeinde Antigua und ist ca. 7 km vom Flughafen entfernt. Es besteht trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen wenig Lärmbelästigung durch Flugzeuge.
Mittelpunkt des Ortes ist die große, hellsandige Strandbucht, der Yachthafen und die Hauptstraße mit vielen Restaurants, Bars und Geschäften.

Dauer der Tour ca. 45 – 60 Minuten.
Alle Stationen sind bis auf die letzten 50 Meter zum Final mit Kinderwagen machbar.

- Du bist auf einem großen Platz gelandet. Wie viele aufrecht stehende steinerne Spitzen siehst du auf diesem Platz? (die gleiche Anzahl von Dreiecken steht übrigens ganz in der Nähe auf einem Verkehrskreisel)

Nun kannst du die Koordinaten ermitteln, wo das Logbuch zu finden ist.
Damit du in Ruhe loggen kannst und diese Dose vor Muggeln sicher ist, haben wir das Final ganz bewusst abseits gelegt. Du kannst dort auch mit dem Auto vorfahren und findest in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Parkmöglichkeit.
Round tour Castillo Caleta de Fuste
We went to this lovely place for three weeks in November 2014. To get you out of the house and to make you familiar with Caleta de Fuste we created a little Multi.
“Caleta de Fuste” can be found with different names in maps or on signposts. For example “El Castillo” or the new name “Costa Caleta”. “Caleta” is the Spanish word for bay and “Fuste” means fishing boat.
The name “Castillo” derives from a tower (near the harbour) which was built back in 1740 as deterrent for pirates. Nowadays this tower is part of an apartment complex.
Caleta de Fuste is part of the community of Antigua, approx. 7kms away from the airport. Although it is so close to the airport there is only little noise pollution.
Main point of the village is the bay with the beach as well as the marina. Furthermore you will find the high street with many restaurants, pubs and shops.

All stations – apart from the last 50 metres to the final – can be made with a stroller.
In the box there is space for TB and Coins. Please do not place stones, sweets or litter in the box!

Now you can identify the coordinates of where to find the logbook. To make sure that you can log calmly and to keep the box from Muggles we placed it off the beaten track. You also can reach this point by car, there is also a parking near by.
