Garden of Dreams Traditional Geocache

The Garden of Dreams, a neo classical historical garden, is situated in the midst of Kathmandu city, Nepal. The Garden was famous as the garden of Six Seasons which was created by late Field Marshal Kaiser Sumsher Rana (1892-1964) in early 1920. After the completion of this Garden, it was considered as one of the most sophisticated private gardens of that time.

The Garden of Dreams was restored in cooperation with Austrian Government during the period of 2000 to 2007. The Garden of Dreams is a peaceful oasis amongst the hustle of the big city, full of unique architecture and varieties of flowers and fauna brought from the different countries.  The Garden of Dreams is managed by an autonomous body of the Government of Nepal under the Ministry of Education. 

Garden of dreams is open daily from 9am - 10pm and costs 200 Rs to enter.

Cache information:  to find the small cache, look in the "Asare Garden" area of the Garden of Dreams. Find the left hand corner of a small door in the wall (see spoiler image if you are unsure!).  Be sure to replace the cache well out of sight; the many gardeners in the Garden of Dreams are meticulous and may mistake a partially visible cache for garbage! .
