This past summer I met Zoothornrollo, a cacher from Texas, who shared with me some challenge cache ideas that we didn’t have in Northern California. They seemed like fun, and knowing that none of us can resist a challenge (unless we are told we can’t resist it), I decided to place them.
The concept of this challenge is easy enough: Find one cache in each minute of the 38° latitude for a total of 60 caches overall.
THE RULES
-
Locationless caches, lab caches, traveling caches, and events do not qualify for this challenge.
-
You may not use any cache that you have placed or owned to qualify.
-
This cache may not be used as one of the qualifying caches for this challenge.
-
Qualifying caches not limited to California. Caches from anywhere in the world can be used as long as they are in the 38° North Latitude.
-
Use the posted coordinates for Unknown and Multi caches.
LOGGING YOUR FIND
You may show your qualifying caches by making a public bookmark, posting a screen shot, or include them in your log. Be sure to include the Posted Minutes, Cache Name, GC Code, Type and Date Found in your post. I will verify all finds. Feel free to sign the log at any time but don't log a find until the requirements have been met.
I extend a hearty "Thank you!" to jellis and nozy nabor, who pointed out this Project Geocaching checker. No GSAK required!
