Geocache Description:

***** Not At Posted Coordinates *****

(former home of HoneyBee #4 which was leveled)
Buzz

One day while Bebe was inspecting the Hive, she determined that the inventory of honey was less than she expected. Determined to find out the cause she began searching far and wide. She thought maybe some members of the Hive were just lazy, or maybe they were turning the pollen they gathered over to neighboring hives because of "sweet" relationships, or maybe it was a combination of both. Off she went to find her missing bees and honey.

She started with Bebe's Honey Quest which seemed a likely location; however, everything appeared in good order there. After further reflection she became more determined than ever to figure this out. Next she went to Welcome To The Hive and didn't find anything there except a large pine tree which is rarely inviting to anyone! . It became clear that this mission was going to require a lot of effort. Then Bebe decided to really expand her search radius. Now The Colorado Hive was a real outlier but worth checking on. It seems some of the colony blamed the harsh weather in Minnesota for their diversion here. She immediately dispatched them home.

On a hunch she thought the goods were being transported across state lines so she checked out Ice Age Trail - Indianhead #1 in Wisconsin with no success. Swizzle Stick Buzz seemed another likely location as folks sometimes have difficulty spotting things in this area. She decided to check out the Swarm Mini where she found several of her colony cavorting instead of gathering honey as they should. She promptly sent them back to their own hive. Next on her list was BCCC - Heiskill Cemetery way down in Arkansas. After a long flight it was immediately clear that this was a "dead" end and so she then returned to GZ to continue her mission. Another location making sense to check was Bebe's Maze which would contain many good hiding places. Nothing found here. After some further reflection she determined she had rounded up all of the renegades. The drop in honey production was now explained. Time to head to the new location to keep an eye on the workers!
