A multi-cache hidden at the township of Goughs Bay on the eastern side of Lake Eildon. At the listed co-ordinates you are looking for a physical Travel Bug style tag with your final co-ordinates. GZ is a short drive away, headed towards the next cache in the tour. At the first waypoint you will be looking for a tag with coordinates listed on it.

Goughs Bay is located in the Mansfield Shire with a population of around 400 people and is a picturesque tourist town that relies on Lake Eildon for its existence. It is 90 km from Eildon, 32 km from Jamieson and 22 km from Mansfield on the Piries-Goughs Bay Road.
History:
Goughs Bay is a tourism town that was established in the mid 1980s on the banks of Lake Eildon. It is reliant on the huge tourism appeal of Lake Eildon and Lake Eildon National Park. It is comprised primarily of holiday homes, mainly visited in the warmer months of the year. There is a small general store in town and a well established kiosk and take away at the Goughs Bay Caravan Park, for those staying at the park. The area below what we now know as Goughs Bay was first flooded 1956 when the 'Big Eildon' project was completed and Lake Eildon was filled to capacity. The land was then made up of large farming properties which continued until the 1980s. In 1982, a report on a proposed development of Goughs Bay was published by the Major Storage Section of the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission.
