Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in honor of the International Space Station. The ISS has been in orbit around the earth since 2000. It has orbited the earth a stunning 90,000 times. The ISS experiences a sunrise and sunset every 45 minutes, and orbits clear around the earth in only 90 minutes at a speed of 17,000 miles an hour. (no, that wasn't a typo!) Astronauts on the ISS use a sleeping bag for sleeping. They zip it up to keep from floating around as they sleep. Sounds like a pretty exciting job!

I, personally, would LOVE to have a job like this. Unfortunately, all I can do right now is watch a live camera looking down on earth from the ISS. However, this is also really interesting, so here is the link: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/live-iss-stream (please notice that it will sometimes show the inside of the ISS instead of looking at earth)  A tour of the ISS is found at: http://youtu.be/IRzakuMjd5Y

Should be nice for those at the hotel nearby to step out of the hotel and walk 350 feet to a cache. Enjoy the cache.
