Geocache Description:

Near the Lake View Trail in Piupestem State Park. Located in a wooded area by an old cellar/home foundation. Expect to walk down a hill, into the woods and back up the hill.

Park at the Gatrell overlook in Pipestem State Park. Follow the Lake View Trail down into the woods. Expect to look through the forest for an old cellar/ home foundation. This home was owned by Barney Law and his wife. They farmed the area along the Lake View Trail and had an orchard across the trail. The Lake View Trail was formerly known as Knob Ridge Road and was the original road into the area. You will have to wall back up the hill to return to your vehicle. Pleae remember it is illegal to remove any historical artfiacts from WV State Parks.
