This geocache is a camouflaged large pill bottle located on a walking trail on Fremont town-owned conservation land. The trail is ½ mile long and the cache is located about 50 yards north of the trail in an area with a lot of beaver activity and, depending on the time of year, may require navigating over water/ice. It contains small kid-friendly items along with a logbook and pencil.
Though the trail is a short one, if you find yourself in need of a mid-hike snack, during midsummer an abundance of wild blueberries is nearby (an additional treat to search for—nature’s best geocache!).
This cache is winter friendly but may be difficult during Spring snowmelt.
There are small areas for public parking at either end of the trail: off Beede Hill Rd. at N 42°59.764’ W071°07.583’ or at the end of Spaulding Rd. at N 42°59.975’ W 071°08.026’.
