In spring 2014, Espoo City Council built a new fitness track through this hilly woodland area. An impressive wooden staircase leads up to the track. The track itself stretches from the small shopping centre in the heart of Mankkaa through to the residential area around Uudenkyläntie. There is also a staircase and track across the main road, Mankaantie, heading towards Turvesuo. The track can be part of a pleasant circular walk starting and ending at Mankkaa shopping centre. It also gives access to the Suurpelto and Henttaa districts of Espoo to the west, with pretty views across the farmland on the other side of the ring road, Kehä II. Please bring your own pen.
