Previously only known to locals in the Falmouth area, now known to cachers all over, The Knob. A small, unmarked hiking trail that winds along the coast. Perfect at sunset, just a beautiful place to visit. Take your time to enjoy the area, and please be kind to the plants and rocks.
The most difficult part is finding the trail head. Even when you get to the parking lot, there are many signs that make you feel unwelcome. There are a few small signs towards "the knob" a short 1/3rd mile trail that leads out to the ocean. The cache is a smaller container, green colored. Bring small items to trade. The easiest way to find it is to go all the way to the trail end, and work your way back. You will find several trails in this area, and once in the bush, it may be difficult to get good coordinates.
