This is a seldom visited but extensive Civil War site. There is a great deal to learn here as well as an outstanding setting for just enjoying being there.
Though located on private property, this site is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays during the hours 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm from April until the first weekend in November, when a re-enactment takes place. It makes a great family geocaching experience. The coords above are the actual cache coords. E-mail me a detailed description of what is to be seen there. Do not post the answer on this site even if encrypted. The entrance is at N35-55.621 / W77-10.288 and will sneak up on you if not careful.
