There is an old trail/road about 50 yards West of the parking area on the North side of the street that will take you the right direction. Please be careful while crossing the street. Cache is not too far off trail, so no bushwacking is required as long is the intended approach is taken.
This seems to be a popular area for mountian bikers, so keep an eye out around the corners as you walk the trail to the site.
