As a child my Dad took me to this location to bond like a lot of local fathers do with their daughters in this area. This cache is in Memory of my "Dad". Once you find the cache, take a moment to enjoy the tranquility and reflect on the times you may have shared with your own father.
We decided to do a "gadget cache" since we have not seen too many in Chambersburg where you must think about how to retrieve the log.
The cache is two parts. The log is in a locked ammo can but the combination to the lock can be found inside the Gadget part of the cache. Retrieve the combination and open the ammo can to sign the log and get credit for the find. I added the Ammo can to give the ability to leave Travel bugs and swag. Please take swag only if you have swag to replace it with. After retrieving the log please return everything as you found it to give the next cacher the challenge of retrieving it. Please be respectful of the area.....Park in the nearby parking lot, search while light out and watch for heavy muggle activity during peak times.

The 1,000,000th active geocache is called Daddy’s Fishing Hole, located near Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
