Au départ du GR20, la boucle quitte à main gauche ce sentier pour accéder à la Petra Incatinata (Pierre Enchaînée), énorme bloc de pierre qui surplombe la vallée de la Flatta et le village de Calenzana. Le sentier traverse de spectaculaires chaos granitiques, des taffoni et rejoint le plateau du Pratu. Certains passages rocheux (de 2 à 3 m) nécessiteront l’usage des mains.
Bien que depuis mai 2014, la boucle de la Pierre Enchaînée sert de chemin d'accès à un site de type école d’escalade pour enfants et débutants, qui intéresse aussi les grimpeurs confirmés, nécessite d'avoir un pas sûr.
En été, la boucle est à l'ombre une bonne partie de la matinée. Le marquage n'est pas toujours évident à voir.

Initially the GR20, the loop exits to the left hand path to access the Petra Incatinata (Chained Stone), a huge boulder overlooking the Flatta valley and the village of Calenzana. The trail passes through spectacular granite chaos, the taffoni and joined the board of Pratu. Some rocky sections (2 to 3 m) require the use of hands.
Although since May 2014, the loop of the Chained Stone serves path to a climbing school site for children and beginners, you'll need to have a sure step.
In summer, the loop is shaded much of the morning. The marking is not always easy to see.
