(FR) Avant de faire cette cache, vérifiez dans un premier temps que le massif de la Sainte Victoire est accessible (il se peut pendant l'été qu'il soit interdit), car le sentier se trouve dans la zone réglementée. Vous pouvez trouver ces informations sur le site www.grandsitesaintevictoire.com .
Une fois cela vérifié, il ne vous reste plus qu'à vous rendre à Meyrargues, vous garer aux emplacements spécifiés avant le centre du village et vous rendre à pieds au château. Le sentier vers la table d'orientation démarre juste en face du château. On peut observer au début la chapelle "La mère de Dieu" puis il suffit de suivre le chemin balisé jusqu'à la table d'orientation. Il faut compter environ 15 minutes depuis le début du sentier pour accéder au sommet et enfin profiter de la vue et bien sûr découvrir la cache ! Merci de bien faire attention en manipulant la cache et de bien remettre en place après. De même , merci de ne pas poster de photos de la cache pour garder le suspense intact!
UN PEU D’HISTOIRE
La construction primitive du château date du IX ème siècle et du XIème siècle. Autrefois demeure d’été des Seigneurs des Baux, d’Alagonia et de Valbelle, le château de Meyrargues est transformé au XVIIIème siècle par un négociant Aixois et devient un entrepôt d’amandes.
Juché sur un rocher il domine le village en forme d’étoile irrégulière et est flanqué de tours carrées.
La tradition populaire lui attribuait autant de fenêtres qu’il y a de jours dans l’année étant donné son importance et sa masse.
Après les guerres de religions , le château s’ouvre sur l’extérieur en agrandissant les fenêtres et en abattant une aile. Désormais, la forteresse desservie par une vaste terrasse tourne son regard vers le site sauvage des collines de Meyrargues.
Transformé il y a une cinquantaine d’années en hostellerie, il fut l’un des premiers « Relais de Campagne », puis « Château et Hôtels de France ».

Once checked, you can go to Meyrargues , park your car before the old village in the specified carparks et go by foot to the castle. The path to the viewpoint indicator starts in front of the castle main entrance. We can observe at the beginning the chapel "La mère de Dieu" then you only need to follow the marked path til the viewpoint indicator. You may take approximately 15 minutes to get to the top and finally enjoy the view and of course discover the cache ! Please be careful when you move the cache and put it back as you found it. A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
The original construction of the castle dates from the ninth century and the eleventh century. Formerly summer residence for the Lords of Baux, Alagonia and Valbelle, the Castle of Meyrargues has been transformed in the eighteenth century by a merchant of Aix and becomes an almond warehouse.
Perched on a rock overlooking the village,its shape is like an irregular star and it is flanked by square towers.
Popular tradition attributed to the castle as many windows as there are days in the year because of its importance and its mass.
After the religious wars, the castle opens to the outside by enlarging windows and destroying one wing. Now, the fortress served by a large terrace faces the wild hills of the forest of Meyrargues.
Transformed fifty years ago in a luxury hotel, he was one of the first "Relais de Campagne" and "Castle Hotels de France."
