Sommet de La Grisonnière à la Montagne de L'Ubac
Cette cache se situe l'extrémité Est de la Montagne de L'Ubac à une altitude de 2020 mètres.
Plusieurs itinéraires permettent d'atteindre ce sommet. Celui que je vous propose part du village de "Le Vernet" en passant par la "Cabane du Berger" et suit un balisage jaune ponctué par 9 stations botaniques jusqu'au Col de la Grisonnière (1810 m) et se termine au sommet de la Grisonnière ( 2020 m).
Cette randonnée nécessite un équipement personnel de type "randonnée moyenne montagne". Le sommet s'atteint en 2h30' à la montée et le retour par le même itinéraire se fera en 1h30'.
On peut choisir de faire un boucle en traversant la crête jusqu'à l'extrémité Ouest et retour au point de départ via le "Haut Vernet" (Compter pour cette boucle 5 à 7 h de marche).
Vous rencontrerez à la "Cabane du Berger" un troupeau de moutons gardé par des "Patous". Respecter impérativement les consignes affichées - Ne pas s'approcher des moutons, ne pas toucher ni caresser les chiens "Patous".
Summit of “La Grisonnière”, “L’Ubac” Mountain
This cache is located in the east end of “L'Ubac” Mountain at an altitude of 2020 meters. Several routes go to the summit.
The one I propose starts at "Le Vernet" village and goes through the "Cabane du Berger" (Shepherd Hut). It follows yellow markings and is punctuated by 9 botanical gardens to “La Grisonnière” pass (1810 m) and ends at the summit of “La Grisonnière” (2020 m).
This hike requires medium mountain hiking equipment. The climb to reach the summit takes 2.5 hours and the return by the same route takes 1.5 hours.
You can also choose to make a loop by crossing the crest to the west end. With this route, you go back to the starting point through "Le Haut Vernet" village (this loop hike takes 5 to 7 hours).
You will meet at the "Cabane du Berger" a flock of sheep guarded by dogs called "Patous". Always follow the instructions: do not approach the sheep, do not touch or pet the "Patous".
