Cette pompe était encore en service dans les années 45/50.
Tout droit sortie des ateliers Ignace Schabaver dans le Tarn, elle alimentait un vaste bassin, à l'agrément de son propriétaire.
Elle fut ensuite prêtée à la commune de Pépieux, afin d'irriguer les jardins à proximité.
Aujourd'hui à l'abandon, elle rouille doucement, sous le regard bienveillant de son compagnon l'arbre qui la protège.

This pump was still in service in the years 45/50. Straight out of the Ignace Schabaver workshops in the Tarn, it fed a large pond, to the approval of its owner.
It was then lent to the municipality of Pépieux, in order to irrigate the nearby gardens.
Now abandoned, it is slowly rusting under the benevolent gaze of its companion, the tree that protects it.
