Geocache Description:

The Waterford Ponds have been a favorite of ours to canoe in lately. It has been quite an adventure paddling around looking for cool locations for some caches. We put some thought into trying as we may, to place some decent caches along the way to attract geocachers to this beautiful place and to share what we have experienced.

The trail close by reminds us of a spooky hollow. Be aware though that we have heard the trail is haunted and evil comes to all those that step ashore. It has been said that a bodyless horseman has been seen roaming this hollow at night awaiting those that dare venture further than they should. We threw a cache container down the hollow as we paddle up to this area and it disappeared out of sight. It scared us so much that we left quickly and could not get a great gps reading. Don't let this happen to you.

We never did find the cache again. Maybe you can find it for us and sign the log. Possibly its vanished for good. If you do find it, please leave your log below to tell us what was staring at us from the end of the trail. Maybe it will stare at you as well.

Good luck and hope all who venture here returns.... ALIVE!!!
