It’s been a few years since Base Dentura helped Newbie Cacher recover his lost cache (GCP9TP). One day while out on a caching adventure Base spots him and calls out “Hey Newbie, how’s it going?” The Newbie grins and says, “I know it’s not about the numbers but I’ve found more than 5 caches!” They both laugh. The Newbie then gets serious and says, “Base, have you noticed the strange new caches popping up?” It’s great, but I’d like to know where they’re coming from. Base pauses then replies, “Now that I think about it, you’re right. I don’t have any cases pending so I think I’ll check into it."
You are at Stage 1 but the fun’s just beginning. East then North then Right at Big Rock. Walk to find BIG YELLOW with a Lock.
Now at Stage 2, what do you remember?
Play Structures = 2 - Slides = 7 - Roofs = 4 - Gears = 4
If you fail to open the box, you will still be able to discover one or more trackables.
Come out and help Base find this new source of caches. At the end of the trail you will find a Large cache. Inside the Cache Box are three "Large" containers
1) Box 1 is for Swag.
2) Box 2 holds containers and objects that might make nice caches.
3) Box 3 has materials and tools that can be used in constructing and camouflaging containers. There is a tarp if you are using any paints or adhesives.
Please leave all of the tools, Stamp, Stamp Pads and unused materials in this box! 4) Box 4 is a "Small". It holds the Letterbox Stamp and multiple stamp pads.
5) Box 5 is a fairly large Regular. I'll let you "Discover" what's in it.
6) The log book has its own special spot inside the Cache Box.
The swag box initially contains a number of items including:
a) 10 packages of 5 1950s wheat back pennies
b) Small geocache repair kits
c) Variety of rocks and crystals
d) Glow in the dark balls
e) Asortment of other things
Bring your trade items. They'll most likely fit.
Sit down and make something, take a ready-made container out of the box or take some materials with you and create your own unique container at home!
