I'm a geocacher from Moscow/Russia traveling with my wife in the Baltic countries this summer. We will stay in Riga for a few days - we've never been in this wonderful city! If you're interested in attending a small meet-and-greet event in the downtown, talk about geocaching, probably pass some trackables to my country - please come and join me on Aug 2, 2014 at 18:30 at the given coordinates. Look for a big bearded guy in a red shirt - I'm trying to perform as Russians are depicted in movies, urban legends and anectodes, sorry that my home bear didn't got his visa for this journey so I had to take my wife instead. After the meeting at the given coordinates, making acquaintance and taking photos we'll go to Paddy Whelan's Irish pub which is just a couple of minutes walking from the gathering point. The reservation was made for us there. The address is Grecinieku Street 4. I don't give GPS coordinates of the bar so consider this as a small puzzle. Reservation was made for us there. I'm not expecting the event to be longer that 2 hours. Anyway, I will depart no later than 8.30pm so we have enough time to get to our bus back home. I apologize for not speaking Latvian language but I hope that either English or Russian will suit all those who will come.
